The Sarnia Lambton Intelligent Community team consists of members from education, public and private sectors all working together with the common goal of building a smarter and more connected community.
Intelligent Community designation is awarded annually by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF), a global network of cities and regions with a think tank at its centre. ICF recognizes intelligent communities in stages: Smart21, Top7, and Intelligent Community of the Year, evaluating candidates on their community’s access to broadband, their knowledge workforce, innovation, digital equality, sustainability and advocacy.
In seeking the highest possible Intelligent Community Forum designation, we are creating new opportunities that could benefit everyone in our community. Having been recognized globally as a Smart21 community in 2016, 2017 and now 2018, we are building the momentum, support and collaboration that will last for years to come.
