Lambton College and Bluewater Power have partnered with Screaming Power, a startup company located in Toronto and Picton, Ontario that develops mobile energy monitoring, reporting and management applications.

The goal at Screaming Power is to revolutionize consumer engagement by providing a mobile platform that connects directly with the energy user with open data, allows for effective and secure two-way communications to educate the marketplace, changes behavior and encourages sustainability.

Screaming Power, Lambton College and Bluewater Power currently have multiple projects running and look to utilize the core technologies in these research and development projects that assist in energy conservation and GHG reduction.

Screaming Power chose Sarnia-Lambton as a community to develop and test their technology platforms because of the community’s expertise, capacity and infrastructure in energy-related applications, and app development, database management and machine-learning capabilities.
